Creating Organization Lists

Create a List in Pipedrive: Customers with Active Deals and Recent Activities

This guide shows how to create an organization list in Pipedrive that filters all organizations that:

  • Are already customers
  • Have an active deal
  • Have had activities in the last 3 months

1. Go to Organizations

  1. Log in to Pipedrive.
  2. In the main menu, select Organizations.
  3. Click Filters → Add new filter.

2. Filter: Organization is Already a Customer

This is typically based on a field marking, e.g. "Status", "Customer type" or a custom field.

Option A: Standard Field (e.g. Label or Status)

  1. Select the field that indicates customer status Example: Label, Status, Customer type
  2. Set filter: is → Customer

Option B: Custom Field

  1. Select your own customer status field.
  2. Set filter: equals → Customer

3. Filter: Organization Has an Active Deal

This is done via the relationship between organization and deals.

  1. Click + Add condition.
  2. Select: Deals → Deal status
  3. Select: is → Open

If you use specific deal stages, you can filter on:

  • Deal stage → is any of → [your active stages]

Avoid stages like:

  • Won
  • Lost
  • Deleted

4. Filter: Organization Has Had Activity in the Last 90 Days

Activities in Pipedrive are recorded under "Last activity date".

  1. Click + Add condition
  2. Select: Last activity date
  3. Set filter: is after → 90 days ago

This captures activities such as:

  • Emails (synced)
  • Meetings
  • Calls
  • Notes/logged activities

5. Save the Filter

  1. Give the filter a name, e.g.: "Customers with open deals & activities last 90 days"
  2. Click Save filter

The list will now automatically update as organizations, deals, and activities change.
