Export a List to Excel or CSV

You can export organizations and their contact information from any list to an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV (.csv) file. The export is processed in the background and delivered via email and an in-app notification with a download link.

How to Export

  1. Navigate to Lists and open the list you want to export.
  2. Select the organizations you want to export, or use Select All to include the entire list.
  3. Click the Actions button in the toolbar.
  4. Select Export.

Configure Your Export

An export dialog will appear where you can customize the following options:

Contact Confirmation Filter

Choose which contacts to include based on their confirmation status:

  • Any — include all contacts regardless of confirmation status.
  • Confirmed — only include contacts that have been verified.
  • Unconfirmed — only include contacts that have not yet been verified.

Contact Selection

If your list is linked to a search with contact role filters, you can choose how contacts are selected:

  • Search Filters — use the contact role filters from the original search.
  • Target Roles — use the target contact roles defined in your account settings.

You can also toggle Only export organizations with matching target contact roles to skip organizations where no contacts match your target roles.

Contact Info to Export

Select which types of contact information to include:

  • Email
  • Phone
  • LinkedIn

Fallback Contact Info

Enable the fallback option to include alternative contact information when the primary type is not available for a contact.

Export Mode

  • Simple — includes only essential fields such as company name, website, and contact details.
  • Full — includes all available fields including industry, employee count, revenue, and more.

File Format

  • Excel (.xlsx) — best for opening in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • CSV (.csv) — best for importing into other tools or CRM systems.

Number of Items

Specify how many organizations to include in the export. The maximum is 10,000 per export.

Receiving Your Export

After clicking Export, the file is generated in the background. You will receive it in two ways:

  1. In-app notification — a notification appears with a download link.
  2. Email — an email is sent to your account email address. If the file is under 5 MB, it will be attached directly. Otherwise, a download link is included.

The download link is valid for 7 days.

Tips

  • Use the Simple export mode for a quick overview, and Full when you need all available data.
  • CSV files are useful when importing leads into tools that don't support Excel.
  • You can export from both lists and searches.
  • Each export consumes credits based on the number of contacts and the contact info types selected.
