Reviewing a Call

Click any row in the Call Log to open the call detail view. This is where a single call lives: the recording, the transcription, what the AI made of it and how it was coached. The view has a main column with collapsible sections and a sidebar with the facts about the call.

Each section can be collapsed with the arrow in its header. Funnelfeedr remembers which sections you keep open.

1. What happens after a call ends

You do not have to start anything yourself:

  1. When the recording is ready, the call is transcribed automatically.
  2. The transcript is then analyzed for type, sentiment, interest, summary, topics, action items and stakeholders.
  3. Finally the call is coached against a rubric.

Calls shorter than 7 seconds are not transcribed. A call of 6 seconds or less is also given the disposition No Answer automatically, since nobody was reached.

Until the steps are done, the sections show a progress bar or No transcription yet.

2. Header

The top of the view shows the organization with a link to its page. If the call was not tied to an organization, the contact name or the dialed number is shown instead.

3. AI Analysis

Badges at the top of the section show:

  • Call type — Cold Call, Follow-up, Discovery, Check-in, Support or Other
  • Sentiment — the overall tone of the conversation
  • Interest — the prospect's interest level
  • Quality — a score from 1 to 10 for the call as a whole

Below the badges:

  • Summary — a few sentences on what was said and agreed. The Copy for LLM button copies the summary together with the call context so you can paste it into another AI tool.
  • Key Topics — the subjects that came up. A topic with a timestamp is clickable and jumps the recording to that moment.
  • Action Items — what the rep promised or needs to do next, with a due date and timestamp where the AI found one. Action items are turned into tasks; once created, the section shows the tasks with their status so you can complete them from here.

4. Stakeholders identified

When the AI hears other people being mentioned — a CFO who signs, a colleague who will evaluate — it lists them here with a suggested role such as Economic buyer, Champion, Decision maker, Technical buyer, Gatekeeper or Blocker.

Each suggestion shows the quote it is based on. Click the quote to hear that part of the recording. Use Confirm to add the stakeholder to the organization, or the delete icon to dismiss the suggestion. A confirmed stakeholder appears on the contact and, where there is one, on the deal.

5. Coaching

The coaching section is the AI's feedback on how the call was run. It uses one of two rubrics: the Cold call rubric or the Conversation rubric, chosen from the call type.

  • Overall assessment — a short paragraph on the call.
  • Focus for next time — the single dimension the rep should work on, with an explanation.
  • Rubric scores — each dimension is scored 1 to 5, or N/A when it did not apply. Dimensions include Opener, Hook / relevance, Screener handling, Agenda and framing, Discovery, Qualification, Listening, Control and pace, Objection handling, Ask and Next step. Every score comes with a justification, and where possible a quote and a timestamp you can jump to.
  • Objection Handling — each objection the prospect raised, with a verdict of Addressed or Unresolved, the AI's assessment and the quote.
  • Script — if a script was attached to the session: which sections were well covered, which were skipped, and feedback on the flow.
  • Key Moments — the turning points of the call, with timestamps.

6. Recording

Press play to load and listen to the recording. The player is segmented by speaker, and anything else in the view that carries a timestamp — topics, key moments, transcript lines, the longest monologue — seeks the player to that position.

Download saves the audio file to your computer.

7. Transcription

The transcript is shown as a conversation between the rep and the contact, each line with its timestamp. Click any line to jump the recording there. While the recording plays, the current line is highlighted.

8. Script Adherence

Shown when a call script was attached to the session. The header gives the script name and the result, for example 9/12 — 75%, with a progress bar.

Below, every section of the script is listed with its items:

  • A check mark means the item was covered. A sparkle icon means it was detected by AI from the transcript; a hand icon means the rep checked it manually during the call.
  • An empty circle means the item was not covered.
  • When the AI found the item, the evidence — the line from the transcript — is shown under it.

Scripts are built under Settings → Playbooks → Scripts; see Building Call Scripts.

9. The sidebar

Call Info — status (Completed, No Answer, Busy, Failed, Voicemail), direction (Outbound or Inbound), duration, credits used and when the call was placed.

Talk Time — a bar showing how much of the conversation the rep spoke versus the contact, in percent. Longest monologue is the rep's longest uninterrupted stretch; click it to hear it.

Contact — the contact card for the person called, and the Caller ID the call was placed from.

Disposition & Notes — the outcome logged after the call and any notes. Click the pencil to change the disposition or edit the notes.

Deal — the deal the call belongs to, when deals are enabled in your account. A badge shows whether it was linked Auto (from participants and timing) or Manual. If several deals matched, the badge reads Multiple matching deals — click to fix. Use Link deal, Change deal or Unlink deal to correct it.

Visibility — who can see this call:

OptionWho sees the recording, transcript and analysis
Only meThe rep who made the call
ParticipantsThe rep and other users who took part
My teamEveryone in the rep's team (requires the Teams feature)
Everyone in accountAll users in the account

A separate toggle decides whether users outside the audience can still see that the call happened, without seeing its content. Only the owner of the call can change visibility.

Tips

  • Start with Focus for next time and the Longest monologue when you coach a rep; together they usually explain the call.
  • Use Copy for LLM to bring the summary into a proposal draft or a follow-up email.
  • Confirm stakeholders as they come in. The deal's stakeholder map is only as good as what is confirmed here.
  • If a call has a recording but no transcript after a few minutes, check that it was longer than 7 seconds before contacting support.
