Starting a Call Session
This guide explains how to start a call session in Funnelfeedr. A call session lets you call through a queue of organizations using the power dialer, making it easy to work through your call list efficiently.
1. Select Organizations
- Go to Search or open a List from the left sidebar.
- Select the organizations you want to call by checking the boxes next to them. You can select individual organizations or use the checkbox at the top to select all.
2. Open the Add to Call Session Dialog
- Click the Actions menu located to the right above the list.
- Select Add to Call Session.
A dialog will open showing two options:
- Add to an existing session — if you already have a session in progress
- Create a new session — to start a fresh session
3. Add to an Existing Session
If you have existing sessions with status Draft or Active, they will be listed at the top of the dialog. Each session shows its name, status, and how many organizations it already contains.
- Select the session you want to add organizations to.
- Click Add to add the organizations without navigating away, or click Add & Start to add the organizations and immediately open the call session.
4. Create a New Session
- Select Create new session at the bottom of the dialog.
- Enter a session name (e.g. "Outreach — May 2026" or "Follow-up calls").
- Click Create & Add to create the session and add the organizations, or click Create & Start to create the session and immediately begin calling.
5. The Call Session View
When you start a session (either by clicking a "Start" button or by navigating to the session from Dialer → Sessions), you enter the call session view with three panels:
- Top bar — call controls including back, skip, and end session buttons
- Contacts panel (left) — shows the list of contacts for the current organization. The best fit contact is shown first and automatically selected as the one to call. You can also search contacts by name or title if the prospect asks you to reach someone else in the organization. This panel also has a Coaching tab — if you selected a script when starting the session, it will automatically switch to the coaching tab once a call is connected.
- Organization panel (center) — displays the current organization and its details
- Disposition panel (right) — after each call, log the outcome (e.g. "Interested", "No answer", "Call back") and move to the next organization
Tips
- You can add more organizations to an active session at any time by repeating the steps above.
- Use Skip to move past an organization without calling.
- Sessions can be paused and resumed later from Dialer → Sessions.
