Managing Call Sessions
Call Sessions under Dialer → Sessions lists every calling block in your account: the ones you are preparing, the one you are in, and the ones you have finished. Use it to pick up where you left off, see how a session went, and put the people you never reached back into your queue.
Creating a session and calling through it is covered in Starting a Call Session. This guide is about the list itself.
1. The list
The list opens filtered on your own sessions. Both filters are remembered per user.
Filter by user — pick another user to see their sessions, or clear the field to see everyone's.
Status — one of:
| Filter | Shows |
|---|---|
| Relevant | Every session except archived ones (the default) |
| Draft | Sessions that have organizations but have not been started |
| Active | Sessions in progress |
| Completed | Sessions where every organization was called or skipped |
| Abandoned | Sessions that were ended with organizations still waiting |
| Archived | Sessions you have archived |
Click the refresh icon to reload. Click any row to open the session view. Use the paginator at the bottom for 10, 25 or 50 rows per page.
2. Columns
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| User | Who owns the session |
| Name | The name given when the session was created, or Unnamed |
| Status | See the table above |
| Progress | Organizations handled out of the total, counted as called plus skipped. A note shows how many were skipped |
| Success Rate | Share of the session's dispositioned calls that got a positive disposition. Empty until at least one call has a disposition |
| Duration | Total talk time across the session's calls. Set when the session ends |
| Started | When the session was started |
| Ended | When it was completed or abandoned. Empty while it is still open |
Which dispositions count as positive is set with the Type field on each disposition under Settings → Dialer. Meeting booked and Interested are the usual ones; No answer and Not interested are not.
3. Session statuses
A session moves through these states:
- Draft — created but not started. Organizations can be added from a search or a list. Nothing has been called yet.
- Active — you pressed start and are working through the queue. You can only have one active session at a time; resuming another one abandons the current.
- Completed — the session was ended and every organization had been called or skipped.
- Abandoned — the session was ended while organizations were still pending. This is the normal outcome when you stop for the day halfway through a list.
- Archived — you removed it from the default view. The calls and statistics remain.
When a session ends, Funnelfeedr sums the duration and credits of its calls and stamps the end time.
4. Actions
The buttons at the right of a row depend on its status.
New Session (header) — creates a Draft named Call Session plus today's date and opens it. Add organizations to it from a search or list, or rename it in the session view.
Start (Draft) — opens Call Session Settings before calling begins:
- Enable call recording — record the calls so they can be transcribed and analyzed afterwards.
- Enable realtime transcription — transcribe live during the call, which is what powers coaching and script tracking mid-call.
- Automatically set call disposition — the AI picks a disposition during the call and saves it when the call ends. You can change it afterwards.
- Call Script — attach an active script of type Call; see Building Call Scripts.
If you have no phone number assigned, the dialog says so. Ask an admin to assign one before starting.
Resume (Abandoned) — reopens the session as Active and takes you straight back into it, with the remaining organizations still in place.
Requeue unreached (Completed or Abandoned) — moves every organization that was still pending or was skipped into your personal call queue under Dialer → Queue. Contacts already live in the queue are not duplicated. A message tells you how many were requeued. The session itself is unchanged, so you can requeue the same session again later without side effects.
Archive (Completed or Abandoned) — hides the session from the Relevant view. Find it again under the Archived filter.
Tips
- Prefer Resume over a new session when you stopped halfway through a list: the progress, success rate and duration stay in one place.
- Use Requeue unreached at the end of a campaign instead of building a new list of "the ones we never got hold of".
- Compare Success Rate across sessions that used the same list to see whether a new script or a different time of day made a difference.
- Archive old drafts you never started. They otherwise sit in the Relevant view forever.
